Cooking/Serving Spoon (Rowan)

A hand carved serving/cooking spoon with a faceted handle. 

This Rowan tree has gave way to some disease and has fallen across the path in the  woodland next to my workshop. It has a really beautiful creamy colour so in order to create some contrasts I have added some milk paint to the handle.

The asymmetrical bowl helps to get the food from the corner of the pot.    

Finished with food safe, cold pressed, raw linseed oil.
