The small carving axe was designed with ergonomics and functionality in mind. I wanted to cater for people whom are not able to wield a heavier axe for a prolonged period of time or in need of a small and compact axe.

The traditional bearded head profile, and the faceted re-curved handle makes it an ideal light weight carving axe. Hand forged from a solid piece of spring steel in Hungary by Szabo Andras a blacksmith with more than 30 years of experience.
Features a faceted hand carved English ash handle. However the aesthetics has been pushed even further. By adding the milk paint to the handle which accentuates the carved facets this axe made to stand out. The facets improves the grip on the axe, which means you can use your axe longer without getting blisters or fatiguing your hand.
The symmetrical 30 degree flat grind is an ideal choice for cutting performance but robust enough to maintain a sharp edge for a longer period of time.
The riveted vegetable tanned leather sheath is custom made for each axe, so they fit perfectly and protect the razor sharp edge.
